How to Start a Video Podcast
Are you interested in starting a podcast? If so, you’ve come to the right place! In this impromptu live stream that I joined, Doc Rock – an amazing fellow and Director of Strategic Partnerships with Ecamm Network – invited me to assist with some audio challenges that Marylou was experiencing. And I must say, it was an absolute pleasure to do so!
But first thing’s first. Let’s go over some basic tips on how to start a successful podcast.
Firstly, you should consider your topic carefully. Your podcast should be about something you’re passionate about and have a lot of knowledge on. This will keep your content fresh and interesting for your listeners.
Next, think about your format. Will you interview other people, or will you have a solo show? Maybe you’ll do a combination of both. Whatever you choose, make sure it suits your style and the expectations of your audience.
And lastly, don’t forget to promote your podcast! Utilize social media and other platforms to get the word out there and reach a wider audience.
